- too crowded especially in check-in counter
- smoking area are inside cafe, so if you wanna smoke, you must ordering food or drink with expensive price.
But, the waiting room was comfy and the toilet was clean

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used to be a very convenient place to drop and pick up friends and relatives when they were traveling. But during this pandemic a lot of things change. Very quiet, and many stores are closed. The only outlet opens is Excel Coffee, selling coffee, French fries, and bread. You many need to think twice about traveling with an empty stomach. You cannot really have breakfast here.
The airport staff are all polite, friendly and helpful. They answer questions clearly, and give solutions to problems. Thank you.
This place looks like being abandoned for a long time. I hope the pandemic will be over soon, and things be back to normal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Since the main airport moved to YIA, this airport has become really quite in a good way. It's a nice alternative to fly to other city (jakarta, bandung, surabaya, denpasar) since it's closer to the city center than YIA

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These days this airport only serves limited number of flights. The rest are moved to the new international airport about 50 kms away. This results in the lack of traffic of passenger in the vicinity. Like a closed business, the narrow passage is pretty dark.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Helpful public transportation for those who need an airport located near by the city of Yogyakarta. Flights destinations are not many, mostly to Jakarta. Best option to fly to Jakarta is by using Citylink Airline. No need to be surprised if you found that the airport is not crowded, it is common because it is inly few of flights coming in and out. The venue is clean but under renovation. There is only one canteen available near by the taxi pool, other food stalls is closed so if you are going to fly please mind yourself to have a meal before you enter the airport. Swab test facility is available and located 300 meters from Domestic Departure Terminal. If you going to leave the airport, you may easily find taxis. Taxis are still available both online and offline but you have to walk to their pool instead of waiting at the airport lobby.

It is not didficult to find out way out and easy to get a taxi.
