★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are thinking about taking Brazilian Jiujitsu, I highly recommend that you do. It is so much fun, a fantastic way to shed a few pounds, and it truly gives you a great skill in being able to defend yourself.
If you have decided that you are going to take Brazilian Jiujitsu, I highly recommend that you let Yuri teach you. Brazilian Jiujitsu can be overwhelming because there are so many holds, mounts, escapes, and so much more that you have to learn. Yuri knows how to read each student, how to effectively teach each student, but more than that he can seamlessly, at the same time, can effectively teach any student at any level. Additionally, I am the type of person that always has a ton of questions, and he easily answers my questions and can tell me exactly why something is done the way that it is done.
I would highly recommend that you take private lessons with him because you get the one on one instruction that can really help you excel. Additionally, his private students, at no additional charge, can also attend the group classes, it’s the best of both worlds! Lastly, Yuri doesn’t only teach you when you are in class, but he also teaches you out of class. I am always getting texts from him of videos that I should check out on YouTube that explain what we were just learning that day, or what we will be learning in the next class.
If you want to learn Brazilian Jiujitsu, you must learn in from Yuri. He is amazing!!!!! Thanks Coach!!!!

He taught me to balance not just the body, but also the mind. So it’s not just block and hit, it has more depth. He also taught techniques and details. He pushes us to be better. His team is also very welcoming and helpful. I always feel good after every session I had. I have learned so much and hope to learn a lot more. I am very grateful to discover Yuri.

I have trained with Yuri since 2011 and it is always a pleasure working out with him, not only as an instructor of martial arts, but a good friend and kind being. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So far, I had a great experience training with coach Yuri. His instructions on drills, techniques and warm ups are clear to follow. Also, he's quite active at correcting any mistakes I did during the classes and made sure that I have a good understanding of what's going on. Overall, I would totally recommend this place for someone who wants to try martial arts for the first time especially BJJ or someone that just want to get into some sport to get in shape.
