★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As it's name Abura soba translated as "oil soba", the dish cooked in heavy oil, so it's recommended to pour vinegar to neutralize the soba oil.
Taste are rather mediocre compared to "lo mie".
If we could recommend, it's better to add sesame oil and pepper for this soba, so the food fragrance could be better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm so in love with this soba. Ordered chashu soba and karami ontama soba. Both of them tasted so good. Mixed with their seasonings, it would be more better. Should try chicken karage and corn grilled. Their chicken karage was awesome, crunchy and juicy together. Corn grilled was quite good, but a lil bit pricey.
You can find this place inside Dotonbori fooudcourt. Staff and service was standard. I will comeback again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always a fun experience everytime visiting Yamatoten Abura Soba, for today dinner I visited their Pik Avenue Mall outlet, that located on the 2nd Floor, near Foodtown Dotonburi area. I ordered 4 of their menu, which is:
- Karami Ontama Abura Soba (Abura Soba with spicy miso sauce, served with half boiled egg, chopped spring onions, sesame seeds, bamboo shoots, dried seaweed and slices of tender pork chashu.
- Aburi Chashu Soba (Slices of pork marinated in special soy sauce, spring onions, dried seaweed and topped with homemade aburi sauce)
- Soft Boiled Pork
- Chicken Kaarage
All of the menu is super delicious, gonna rate this restaurant 5 out of 5!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located on the 2nd floor dedicated dining area. It's an original Tokyo Abura Soba that makes it a must try. Pork Soba with vinegar, chili oil and spicy ground chili topping. It's not very crowded on weekday. The price is a little bit pricier comparable with similar Soba noodle joints. The portion is rather small too. Crispy gyoza and mozzarella sweet corn are great as side dishes. Seating area limited to small section within the dedicated shop.

This one taste fresh from tomato chops and tangy, so you dont need to mix it with vinegar etc anymore. Lovee their soba texture.
Service is good , the place is pretty clean and tidy with adequate distancing between each table. ??
