The venue's name used to be Akane and this place is really popular for their lunch power set.
107k++ (slightly under 130k nett) for rice, 3 types of side dishes (can be all protein), misoshiru, ocha, and moose dessert. What more can you ask for a meal in a hotel restaurant?
The taste isn't like what it used to. But it's still pretty good nonetheless. Make sure you try the Beef Steak. The sauce they use to marinade it is really good.
Worth every cents you pay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent value for money for traditional and authentic Japanese food. Don't expect fusion Japanese food, this is homey simple food, cooked better than at many overrated Japanese restaurants in Jakarta.
Any option from their 3 dish menu is good, and don't afraid to order the simpler choices over the one that looks hearty.
This restaurant has same menu as Konoha in Menara Astra and Naka Nakaya at STC, with only 1-2 differences in the menu. The three restaurants have the same quality so this review applies to the three, but Chidori is usually the least busy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very recommended authentic Japanese restaurants in Jakarta. All the food I tasted was delicious, reasonable price, great service. The lunch package was great too, which you can choose three dishes, accompanied with rice, miso soup, pickles, and drink.
