★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is 5⭐️’s traditional chicken dish: Ayam Ingkung. Whole ayam kampung stewed with spices, so tender and delicious. This is my second visit after 3 years ago and will come again. There are many Ayam Ingkung resto before this place, so make sure you go to the right place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The champion of gudeg manggar complemented with chicken ingkung and ofcourse with krecek. Other choices of meals are also available, such as fish, condiments like tempe and tofu, also some fresh vegetables. They even have gudeg made of jantung pisang, the flower of banana trees, on the menu. Traditional beverage like wedang uwuh is also available in this traditional-themed restaurant.

Gudeg manggar give you another taste of gudeg, it"s nice, ayam ingkung village, there are so many selling ayam ingkung, this one is above average. The best is trancam (raw vegetableP

This resto provides a lot of Javanese traditional menu contains papaya leaf, coconut flower, banana flower, fish and chicken.
Visitor also can choose a lot of traditional beverage including ginger, lemon grass, palm sugar etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are many ingkung restaurant around the area, but i think this one is the best. The place itself have a very traditional atmosphere, with most of the seating is "lesehan" (sit on the floor, with a thin carpet). Building consist mainly from wood, makes the atmosphere more traditional.
Ingkung is very flavorful and tender. And the sambal is very special, i recommend to take the medium sized ingkung, because it's taste best. Gudeg manggar is also very tasty, and the krecek is very good too. This place is not cheap, but not expensive too, but for the taste, it is absolutely worth. Place is not too big, motorcylce and car parking is available. Overall, very recommended.
