★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious foods but slow services, I think this restaurant reduces the employees since the Covid-19 pandemic. Some menu items are not available any more also.
I love gudeg manggar and Tempe mendoan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good alternative if you are gudeg lover and want to try something new. Manggar is made from coconut's flowers, cooked in traditional way, resulting in soft and unique texture (normally stewed unripe jackfruit is used as gudeg main ingredient). Food is good, place is comfortable and spacious, price is reasonable. They have special drink called batok tea, made of ginger, lemongrass and pandan, served in coconut shell!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time trying manggar. I got good recommendation about this resto. But in facr the taste not so good. Compare to its price, I think bit overrated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The gudeg manggar is not bad, indeed it is not as sweet as ordinary jackfruit gudeg, but that is what makes the difference. I also tried the grilled fish (nila) and mendoan kremes, they taste great. Overall the food is above average in quality, but its just a little bit overpriced in context of jogjanese traditional food. Its my second time visiting this resto, and it still seems to be low on visitors, again.
