Been to almost all MD group's restaurant. Good service in the dining area. But I had a pretty bad exp when I wanted to RSVP.
I was sent a total of 4 confirmation messages in 2 days, 1 of them with wrong dates (no explanation) and 2 of them only 3 hours different... and I am like, cant you be bothered just to scroll up a bit and read the message you guys sent 3 hours ago? There was not even a single apologize when I told the person. As if it was sent by a robot. Well, call me petty but this is not the level of service I'd expect from a fine dining resto

โ โ โ โ โ There will always be skepticism around fancy restaurants that throws truffle around along with some flambe actions, and it's mostly about the actual food taste.
I'm here to happily report that the guys are Wabi Sabi here actually knows what they're doing and they've successfully combined overwhelming presentation with food taste that's impossible to forget. Everything was lovely and fresh, although the Crab Pasta and their chicken takes the crown for me. Don't forget to reserve first since this place is currently the hit of the town. 9.7/10.

โ โ โ โ โ - The atmosphere is a little sky bar like. Music is a little loud that it might be distracting for kids. But I almost forgot Iโm in Indonesia.
- The view is pretty cool
- The service is friendly and the staff sure knows how to recommend dishes
- Price starts at Rp. 150.000 per entree to Rp. 850.000. We paid 1.566M for our dinner
- Small portion so order around 5 entrees for 2 adult and 1 kid if you want to be full (satisfied full, not full full)
- Mason always has trouble eating unless we feed him. Today, he ate by himself and he said โI got thisโ when I tried to help feed him
- Get the hot Ocha if you donโt want to spend too much on drinks
- Crab Ramen was delicious and it has a very strong flavor
- King Cobia was delicious but itโs too flavorful for me. You definitely should try it at least once but Iโm not gonna order it again.
- Duck Duck Foie is unique but the chawan mushi is too bland by itself. So, ration the duck meat with the chawan mushi
- Centipede tastes like green dragon roll in sushi joints. But it tastes like a good green dragon roll so...
- Gyoza Lobster tastes good and looks interesting but it fails to impress me.
- Southern Alaska is a kid pleaser since it has cotton candy and fire but again the taste didnโt keep up with the aesthetic.
- The aesthetic, plating, presentation and the atmosphere are great however the flavor of the dishes are not quite on par. Regardless, if given the chance, I wouldnโt mind coming back because the service is outstanding and I had enjoyed my experience dining here.
- When I say the taste doesnโt keep up with the aesthetic is like aesthetic 9/10 and the flavor is 8/10 so the flavor is still delicious but itโs overshadowed by the aesthetic

โ โ โ โ โ Despite its namesake, Wabi Sabi is flashy and eager to please. Its good, but never truly impresses. It's more of a hollywood action flick.
Flavor:
Its dishes are generally very bold and in your face in their flavors. This is perfect for the Indonesian palate that is used to strong, dominating flavors. However, it is unable to be subtle or elevate to the next level. None of the dishes we tried attempted to be subtle in its flavor. The hamachi appetizer, a very light tasting fish was paired with much sauce and toppings you can barely appreciate the fish's taste. Dessert is only acceptable.
Vibe:
Not too crowded. Nicely decorated. Great.
Service:
Good but nothing to write home about. Water not topped off.
Overall:
Good. Will I come back? Yea why not. Is it the best thing ever like others claimed? Not by a mile. It's pretty good though.

โ โ โ โ โ A new Japanese restaurant in MD building. They have alot of variety in the menu. The options are far from standard Japanese dining experience. But I dare say that their menu is quite successful. Each of the item deliver unexpected experience and taste good of course. I would definitely recommend coming here. The staffs are also very friendly. The menu that I have tried and recommend is Bincho Maguroโจ, Duck Duck Foie โจ, Crab rrr-amenโจ.
