★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The locals know the name as KOBER an abreviation for koeboeran bersama or mass grave in english. also in the graveyard there as section specially for the war victim if im not mistaken from british army. i will edited once i got more info

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Precious and historical places. Alot of Dutch tourist come to this grave who passed away during Dutch colonial time especially in world war two when japan was here. There is alot of dutch people died at the world war time and this grave was provided by dutch government for the victims of the war. Inside the grave there is also church for praying. This place was clean and managed very well by dutch embassy.

I am trying to find the grave of my father's first wife Frieda Theodora Blogg, married to Eddy Steevensz.
She was born 21-12-1923 in Jogjakarta and died 09-01-1948 in Jakarta. She was buried at Menteng Poeloe/Pulo 12-01-1948.
Who can give me information if the grave still exists or where to find information about her grave?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful cemetery to commemorate the heroes. There is a chapel that can be used for any event. The Netherlands embassy have some events here sometimes too. There is a british cemetary at the back but mostly closed
