★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been a fan since child. Last week brough my kids to here from far away tangerang, only for texas.
At arrival theres 2 table literally directly from cashier yet to be cleaned. Until 10 min later their guy finally showed up.
They have a backdoor access which continuosly used by people passing through to enter the mall, passing directly at their cashier/main area. No one gave a warning whatsoever.
It disturbed us since its still on Covid19 alert, their backdoor didnt use entry check, so i think theres no security & covid protocol check from these backdoor.
Food were good. Bring back childhood memories.
Texas should increase management in all aspect. Please compete with competitors and stay up!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the torch bearer of louisiana style fried chicken after the demise of popeye, New Texas Chicken has revamped itself to be more modern and its menu are aligned more with the international standard. indonesian Texas is the same with singapore and malaysia for the most of it. the best part is: honey butter biscuit is available!

The chicken is nice and tender, if you pair it with mashed potatoes and coleslaw to make it a full delicious meal. The real star on the menu is the Butter Biscuit, its crunchy on the outside but soft and tender on the inside.
Its located very strategically inside Blok M Plaza at the corner on the first floor. Unfortunately this place is used by passerby as an alternate entrance to Blok M Plaza, there is a lot of foot traffic inside the store but not many people ordering.

Its fried chicken was famous for its crispy and seasoning which can penetrate into deep meat. Delicious but not widely known, or not following the marketing trend.

• Taste: Crispy outside, tender inside. But the chicken skin menu can be said to be tough and the sauce is less tasteless such as tasteless. Fill the soup a little, especially the chicken is small and there are only a few pieces left.

• Place: Spacious and funny design
• Ordering system: direct order to the caissier
• Location: A bit in the corner, according to the gmap. It looks small from the outside, it turns out to be spacious.

The chicken still taste pretty much the same, the spicy version has gotten less spicy than what me used to remember before, the current one better at least. The place while it might could gotten a little better, but it was alright, just need a little colder knowing its in indoor.
