The people in here are so warm and welcome us!
I visited this temple to do some research, and they are so nice and kind to me.
The architecture of the temple is very nice even though it was built around 1837, and had so many history over Tegal especially related to their cultural events like Cap Go Meh or the birthday of the God in the temple.

This diminutive Chinese temple is one of the oldest on Java, dating back to the 17th century. Back then, as now, China was a huge market for Indonesian commodities, though it was more likely to be pepper, nutmeg or cubeb back then, whereas today China has a vast appetite for Indonesian coal.
We were lucky enough to be in Tegal for Chinese New Year so this place was a hive of activity at that time, with cymbals and gongs clanging. It would be worth stopping by for a quick look at any time of year though.
