★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice place to hang out with your family. I don't suggest you bring your own car here. It gets crowded on weekends.
Experience how to hang out like locals, lots of hawkers food stall, sometimes if you're lucky, you'll get to experience a mobile amusement park.... Hehehe

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Alun alun kota tegal is the place where usually at night, people crowdedly go here... there are a lot of food street around the alun alun. I get this picture at the morning, so the alun alun looks quiet. the alun-alun is quite clean, a lot of trash bin.
at the west, there is masjid agung.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vast, open area, but not so many trees around, in front of several important structures in Tegal (city hall, municipal building, grand mosque, and traditional stores). There is also a brand new paved big swath of road access that leads to the railway station. Per January 2022, it closed for public use due to coronavirus restrictions.
