In addition, it has a nice ambience, good food and great staff.
Definitely worth a five star review in Yogya
On the 'could be improved' side...
-The music selection is often a tad strange, maybe more the taste of the staff on the day, than any form of management decision about what would appeal to customers or set the appropriate ambience .
-As an Australian used to Australian style Flat White you usually have to remember to request them to steam the milk a bit hotter. Most asian cafe's seem to follow the European standard of around 65c for the milk which while correct for a café latté or cappuccino, is too low for a Flat White which should be closer to 85
-Sadly the juice menu seems to be closed, which is frustrating, but I can understand as a pandemic management decision as its much harder to manage stock.
-finally portion size... Tanamera mirrors the casual, informal and generous style of a good Melbourne Café, except when it comes to portion size. I totally get it, as the average Australian is much bigger, and probably eats to much, and/or exercises a lot harder... But the answer is simple, just serve a Medium and large portion. I mean if the "Big Breakfast" on your menu isn't big, then what is it exactly?..
All of the above is really just intended as feedback to the owners, and advice to customers. But at the end of the day Tanamera was and remains a very welcome addition to the Yogya café scene.

It has the best spot in Jogja, exquisite building with downward creeping plant, cozy & nice ambience, friendly host. It also has Slayer Espresso machine which makes them so cool. They know what they are doing. Keep up the good work?.
