A good Japanese all-you-can-eat BBQ grill. Other than beef, you can take any Japanese and other side dish you want, like karaage, kimchi, and also some mini sushi roll if you like. The most memorable one for me is the all-you-can-take vanilla ice cream for dessert. Definitely a good place for your next family outing. The price is around 100~200 thousand rupiah per person.

SUMERAGI - All you can eat Japanese Restaurant. Visited on Aug 24th 2020. It is recommended to make a booking via WhatsApp to the provided number. IDR 155.000++/pax. Following the "new normal" protocols, you have to wash your hand with soap upon entering the restaurant. Have your temperature checked and your body disinfected on the disinfection chamber. Currently the restaurant only accepts payment in cash or mobile bank transfer (BCA Mobile) as it is recently opened. Other payment methods would be available in near future. You will have 2 hours to indulge yourself, and it is recommended that you finish in before that given time, so that the staffs would have enough time to clean up the tables, properly set up the grill and cutleries - for the next assigned customers. The Pros: The place is easy to find, and in case you miss it, there's a roundabout/U-turn nearby. Also, it has a proper parking space, since it is located right on the side of the main road. The price included BOTH shabu-shabu and grill, where in other similar place you might be charged to get the other one of the two. Choose 2 among the 3 or 4 types of the base soup for your shabu-shabu. The Tom Yum was very tasty and quite rich! The grill was also quite large, so you can grill in larger batch. It is also feature a drainage for the excess oils and to dump out the burnt tidbits. Fret not, the staffs would be more than happy to help you clean your grills once it gets messy and to refill your soups once it starts to deplete. Good taste, vast choices of dishes (sushi, takoyaki, kimchi, fruit salad, etc), various sauce to dip or marinate your choices of meat. I highly recommend the BBQ sauce for dipping the grilled meat, shoyu and spicy mayo for the sushi. There were also quite an array of vegetables (Pok coy, champignon mushroom, lettuces, corn, sliced tofu, and many more) and processed meat (Chikuwas, dumplings, fishballs, meatballs, etc) to choose from for your shabu-shabu. The staffs and supervisors/managers were also very helpful and well-mannered, despite the hectic situation on the restaurant. Some of them even regularly take away our dirty dishes and asked us if we need anything to be served, despite the self-service concept of the restaurant. As for the beverages, there was a free-flow of mineral water, lemon-infused water, milo, orange juice, and lemon tea. The kids would love the waffles, dorayaki, takoyaki, puddings, and the ice cream. After all that, you can go upstairs to take a picture with Japanese authentic backgrounds while wearing the provided costumes/properties with no additional charge. The Cons: The deep fried section could be better in freshness and variants. It has gotten soggy because it was quite oily. The atmosphere could be better with proper background music for ambience. Or maybe it was just too crowded at the time. There should be a proper storage/display for the ice cream section, because it was rather hard to reach, and the improper storage temperature made it easy to melt. Somehow I think it needs an extensive variety of sushi (i.e. volcano roll, California roll), eggs (i.e. onsen tamago, chawan mushi), seafood (i.e. prawns, squids, fish fillet) because it would go well with the tom yum soup. All in all, (TL;DR) a very nice restaurant to hangout with friends or family, or simply celebrating a birthday or any other occassions with your loved ones. DISCLAIMER: This review was written during the first few days after its grand opening, so it is subject to change during its improvements from time to time.

Affordable AYCE restaurant in Bogor. The taste is ok for the price, but the beef slices are too thin and the tables is a bit too high and not wide enough to comfortably grill foods
