★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Surprisingly good Soto. Looking for food at night and stumbled upon this place. At first we thought the portion was too small, but the soup is full of ingredients and very filling - not just a bowl of water like many Soto places. It’s different than the Soto I usually find in East Java - slightly different flavor and heartier soup. The ingredients were very fresh tasting even though we came late at night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ (Soto Rumput), soto in this place, it's not much different from where it came from, Boyolali. I came here in the afternoon, it's a shame that some of the food menus have run out... and and some of the snacks are also empty....my recommendation is that if you come here early before lunch time, the menu for dishes and snacks will be more complete.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An outlet of the Boyolali-based Soto Rumput (lit. Grass Soto Soup) food chain at the Mangkutaraman shopping center in the center of Salatiga City, Central Java Province. If you like sweet, savoury and spicy beef soto soup, then this is a good place for you. Delicious snacks are also offered like fried tofu, offal satays, crispy fresh fried tempe, etc. A shared parking lot for motorbikes and cars on the street side. Good free WiFi but a rather dirty toilet. Not so far from Salatiga's Darul Amal Grand Mosque at the city square.
