If you want to know the name of the food, just ask the staff or the owner there, because they don’t provide any menu sheet that completed with price. I try “galantin” that cost 17.500 IDR and rice with vegetables 2 kinds that cost me 12.000 IDR. Quite reasonable considering the portion and the taste. Recommended place to have food. Anyway i’m not sure it’s halal or not. Because they didn’t claim or state anything. For those who concern about this one, better you ask first before ordering.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another home style cooking restaurant located near the market in Salatiga. A must try in this small restaurant is the Empal Goreng, Javanese herbs beaten sliced fried meat. It has crunchy taste which is a specialty here. A must try vegetable here is the salted vegetable, sayur asin, which is surprisingly crunchy too with the sweet and sour taste. They also serve chicken, meatballs, and other food. Serving is quite fast. The rice tastes right, makes you just wanna eat more. Be careful to be contented eating here.
