★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like how you can customize the soto betawi in many ways (with or without santan, what kind of meat) and if you don't like soto betawi, you can opt for the soto mie. Both sotos are really tasty! You can even order a cakwe or risol to eat with your soto betawi. Weird? I think not!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Despite being always packed with dine in and GoJek orders, I find this place to be just ok. Nothing wrong with the food or service. In fact they got pretty much everything quite right from price, quality, service, speed, etc. The taste just didn't quite hit my pallette. It was to clean for me. Other than that, everything else was just ok. Variety of menu is quite consistent with choices of cow innards/organs from meat, tripe, lung, bone marrow, ribs, etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here for breakfast thinking that it will be a heavy meal. I ordered the soto mie betawi and jumbo size (because I'm greedy) with all the toppings except chicken. I have selected the soup that comes with coconut milk too. The soup have a very deep complex flavour. This is because they keep adding cow parts into the broth and cook it over long hours. The meat content such as the cow lungs, soft bones, tendon are cooked perfectly. Combines both soft, chewy and crunchy texture with the soup.

And to increase soto taste, we could pour risol topping (rp 8.000+) into the soup.
But here the meat was not so tender as before.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located right around the corner, Soto Betawi Nyonya Afung in Greenville offers one of the best Soto Betawi and Iga Bakar in Jakarta Barat area. Dishes are mostly authentic and the price are just right. Could use a little bit of music on 2nd floor, too quiet. The rest are all great.
