★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Normally i would give a place i rate as 4.5 as 4 to manage other readers' expectation, but i'll make some exception for this place.
The thing i like the most about this place is the fact that they take the health protocol very seriously.
They limit the dine in guests strenuously and make sure each groups are distanced properly.
They even provided a plastic gloves to eat (you know you need one when you eat fried chicken).
The taste of the food is good borderline great. But the Pisang Goreng is definitely to die for. I personally ordered the Nasi Ulam, and the best part of the dish is the Nasi.. love how they seasoned it. The semur is slightly too sweet for me, but it's still very nice. Bold flavors all around.

~ Love the retro yet luxe Betawi interior.
~The restaurant smelled like a hotel lobby, also clean and tidy.
~ Baby chair was available
~ Clean toilet
~ Ordered soto kaki, soto daging, nasi uduk, and asinan betawi. All were delicious.
~ The soto was always in heat because it was served on a hotpot.

~ No one cleanes the trash bins. They were full of used tissues, ew.
~ Drinks were served in paper cup and food on styrofoam plate, condiments in disposable cup. Y'all create more garbage tho.
~ The waiter who took our order got angry to me when I told him about my drink order that was not available. He repeated impatiently what drinks available. Oh hey dude, I was taking care of my baby. It was hard to give attention to what you had said to my husband and son earlier. Meh.
