★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the airport view today, 23-12-21. Full packed with Travellers but the airport system & management seemed not ready with this high season of holiday. People are lining up very tightly to each other, disregard physical distancing, no one sanitize hands, no one check your temperature. The Peduli Lindungi automated verification, and the manual verification (for covid test& vaccine) are in the same line, so a bit confusing.
The security check also only few in service despite packed of people lining up. And you know Indonesian, they do not like to queue they will make any effort to jump the line, shamelessly. So annoying. So I highly recommend you to do online check in especially if you don't have bagage to check in. This will safe you up to almost 40% time to lining up again. Safe travel, stay safe and happy holiday

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you fly internationally from this airport expect nothing to entertain you. There are 4k QLED TV's but the channels are all the same. The new terminal (international terminal) has almost nothing inside except for a few resturants that close very early. The domestic side of this airport is very rundown as well. You can tell this airport has been built a couple decades ago. All that goes to say, the staff and people are amazing.

The airport is operated by Angkasa Pura II.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lots of options whilst waiting for your flights. Can be too big for most people especially elderly, long walks from one terminals to another, need to make sure you've had enough time to catch your flight. A nice garden around the terminals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Soekarno-Hatta International Airport T3 is Indonesia’s most modern airport. The impressive 1.2 KM steel & glass structure was completed in 2016.
Terminal 3’s apron is able to serve 40 aircraft at any one point and has the capacity to serve 25 million international passengers each year. Size wise, it’s 423K SQM, slightly larger than Singapore’s T3.
The only issue the engineers failed to address is that the airport heats up considerably in the day and is very ? hot.
Overall still a good airport??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a newer airport, I would have expected better signage. Making a domestic to international transfer across airlines had us searching for a way to get from the domestic baggage claim to the international departures area. There’s just no indication whatsoever! As we came in later in the evening, no one was around to provide assistance… the floor sweeper saved the day, pointing us to the correct escalator.
Nice check in and easy immigration… so all was not lost!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Indonesia's main airport that located in Cengkareng (CGK) very accessible as we could reach this place by so many choices of transportation, by train, cars or motorcycle. You could park your vehicle in the lot available, and they also give a service for those that want to in-house your parking too.
There are 3 terminals in this airport, depend on what the name of the aviation service that you choose, and also, either domestic or international flights.
There are also plenty of restaurants in the airport, some accessories store and bookstore. The toilet also decent and the people who work in airport really helpful in case you need assistance with direction or things.
