★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was there to take my domastic flight to Surabaya. Since it is a domastic airport i guess they don't worry to announce delays in English. My flight had more than an hour delay but this was not announced in English only in Bahasa. Also the fact the airport has no free WiFi like most airport have is not a benefit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very small airport, i understand that this was not made for public consumption when it was build. It is convenient because the exit is close. I don't need to walk far until I reach places, exit, transport, unlike Soekarno Hatta. The area surrounded it not as nice as Soeta as well.. but practicality is key. Not too much public transport or transport options. But they have trans Puskopau and the usual online ride. So I am okay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was my first time taking a flight from Halim. Closer to my house than CGK. When I was there, I saw a group of probably US Airforce or Army who wanted to take a flight. I thought they separate the commercial flight and the country event. But I guess not. They put us in a same boarding room. Since it's a small airport then you don't have to walk a lot. Nice experience

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lobby is nice. But transportation pick up place is poorly organized. Grab car pick up place is at the car park, and it is super jam. Car park environment is also very stuffy and warm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There's an electronic self-validation spot for passenger's vaccination status and Covid test results, so it's good. There are also several self check-in machines that aren't utilized well with passengers. Too bad since this can reduce the queues around the manual check-in counter, so there can be less crowded spot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is located in east Jakarta and quite strategic. The service was good, the bathroom inside the terminal was very clean.
Too bad they dont provide free wifi inside the terminal.
if you landed in Halim, and need transportation service from there, you cant get blue bird service. If you use gocar or grab car it will always use extra surge price, and if you chose to use airport's taxi, the minimum fee is Rp 50.000 + Rp 15.000 for admin fee.
