Menyelenggarakan 13 macam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, dengan prestasinya sebagai juara 1 bola volley tingkat kabupaten, juara 1 tilawah qur'an tingkat kabupaten, juara 2 sepakbola tingkat kabupaten, dan berbagai kejuaraan lain di bodang kepramukaan, kesenian dan olimpiade sain tingkat kabupaten. Memiliki laboratorium IPA, BAHASA dan Komputer, yg didukung oleh laboran handal. Memiliki 2 gedung perpustakaan dg ribuan koleksi buku. Memiliki rombongan belajar/kelas sebanyak 27 ruang terdiri dari masing masing 9 ruang kelas yg representatif untuk tiap level kelasnya. Memiliki marching band, orkestra gamelan lengkap dan marawis. Sebuah mushola yg megah mendukung kegiatan religius. Lapangan bola yg luas, lapangan basket dan volley juga tersedia di SPENSAMI (SMP Negeri Satu Ulujami).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dari dulu semakin berkembang baik gedung maupun fasilitasnya. Cuma kayanya ekstra kulikuler sekarang ga berjalan. Adekku sekolah disini pernah ikut ekskul tari sekarang udah ga berjalan padahal udah beli selendang tarinya.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dulu pd thn 1984 -1985 an SMP N 01 Ulujami byk prestasi sampai ikut jamnas di jkt. Thn berikutnya sampai skrg tdk kedengaran lagi prestasi yg dpt di acungi jempol.
Previously in 1984 -1985, SMP N 01 Ulujami had a lot of achievements and took part in the national time schedule at jkt. The next year until now there is no longer a sounding achievement.
