Pada era tersebut sekolah ini memang sangat terkenal,muridnya banyak dari berbagai daerah bahkan ada yang dari luar Kabupaten Purworejo.
Kebanyakan muridnya didominasi dari keturunan Tionghwa.
Setiap peringatan hari proklamasi kemerdekaan sekolah ini turut memeriahkan acara dengan Marcing Band nya ....
PIUS BAKTI UTAMA high school is the most favorite school in Purworejo district in the '80s. It is located along the Kutoarjo-Purworejo route, precisely bandungrejo, Bayan sub-district.
In this era the school was very well known, many students from various regions and some even from outside Purworejo Regency.
Most students are dominated by Chinese descent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Betul yg dikatakan Sdr Edy Setiawan, SMA Pius Bakti Utama tahun 80, SMA yg favorit, bahkan sampai pertengan thn 90-an. Berdasarkan ranking ujian nasional tahun 2018 ranking menduduki 8(delapan) dari 29 SMA/MA se Kabupaten Purworejo.
Salah satu sekolah swasta yg bisa bertahan sampai sekarang. Dibanding dengam sekolah-sekolah swasta lainnya SMA siswanya saat ini termasuk lebih banyak.
It's true what Mr. Edy Setiawan said, Pius Bakti Utama High School in 80, my favorite high school, even in the mid 90's. Based on the 2018 national exam rankings, the ranking was 8 (eight) out of 29 SMA/MA in Purworejo Regency.
