★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you ever wanna get the penal battalion feel, this is the place for it. Come here if you want to have your opinions shut down because you're nothing but a convi- err student. Chaotic management, peculiar curriculum all in a pack with arbitrary application of the curriculum. It's stuck between being an IB school and national curriculum. Here's a suggestion, take your pick. Focus on a curriculum and go down that way, not alternate between 2 of them. At this price point, you're supposed to get quality education as well, not just an "international school" mark on your diploma. I've seen a lot of amazing teachers here come and go by so fast. Hell, some of them even left so quick I didn't even catch their name.
Oh and another thing, if you folks ever decide to change to one curriculum, please, do NOT screw your students over by changing the curriculum in the middle of their high school education. Emphasis on the word education, I mean the whole 3 years, not just the semester.

SVP not only offer an academic-focused learning, but also a comprehensive one, which prepare the students to be truely skillful, knowledgable and humble.

we students dont get the chance to express our opinions. this school is a terrible option for those seeking IB curriculum, especially the IB DP. Those 5 stars are given by those parents who don't actually know what's going on in the school as we students chose to remain silent to avoid conflicts. But hey I'm here to represent those opressed students.
Most of the teachers here barely know about the International Baccalaureate and how to implement the curriculum correctly to students. Teachers here act extrajudicially towards the students as we are constantly bombarded with ridiculuous and vague tasks. Another thing is that, we spent millions for our textbooks but heck the teachers here prefer using ppt's from Google! Furthermore, you'll expect to give your beloved child(ren) more pocket money as we constantly need to pay for EVERYTHING. Even the smallest things such as paint and brushes. You'll expect your student to pay for such items for the sake of getting 7 or 8. We students can't rely on the school resources much as we often find everything by ourselves, hence burdening our parents. I can't actually call SVP an international school (the way they boast in every single ads) as most of the teachers here (except for the extremely nice and wonderful expatriates) do not even know how to communicate in English properly. Next year turns out to be the first time SVP to hold the IB DP examinations and the class of 2019 are currently made to be the guinnea pigs for the DP implementation for the following years. I know that reflection is an important aspect in IB but it is RARELY applied in most subjects as most teachers took it for granted.
To all future students seeking for a decent international school, please opt for another school as this school has a chaotic management. I am one of those 'fooled' by the 'sweet' advertisement made by the school back then.
The facilities here are mediocre and I can say that it has not reached international standard. Even most national-curriculum private schools have better and broader facilities than SVP.
There are more to say but above is what I can say 'SVP in a nutshell'. Kudos for those who are still struggling and have stayed here 'till high school.

Sesuai dengan marketing slogannya. "The most AFFORDABLE IB school..."
Well, you'll realize what the slogan highlights, but not really worth every cents that we spent.
They actually only put IB and higher price point on the fees (compared to some schools in Bekasi) as branding material and selling point, but in practice they're not reflecting the expected qualities of such school.
Poorly managed, under qualified staffs, too many teacher rotations (and can happen cross-grades), stressful environment & interactions.
Change of Principal doesn't really affect anything.
Owner/Management do all the talk but NOT the walk!
Keep holding seminars but doesn't really put those topics into practice.
Really DISAPPOINTING experience with their operations, services, and quality.
My children are better enrolled in other schools.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wah, pengalamannya berbeda dengan saya. I sent my child to SVP and they doing great. They more confident, open minded and more independent compare to other kids that went to other school.
My child have an exhibition in Grade 6 and they exhibit global issue like enviroment issue. Fee compare to what? school in Bekasi? well is not apple to apple, why don't compare to school in Jakarta with same curriculum then we can say it whether worthy or not. for me it sure worthy for every sen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a fellow Secondary Student from SVP I would like to share my experience. I believe that SVP is an excellent place to study especially if you want to be a global minded citizen. The environment is supportive to students' academic life as students treat each other fairly and teachers try their best to accommodate their learning. Students are often engaged with not only theoretical aspects to knowledge, but also its practical applications in real life. Unlike many other schools, SVP's student social circle does not have seniority and bullying, and students across different grades socialize with one another in ease. The student-teacher relationships are often very close, which helps with the learning process. SVP is also not always about academics, as students are encouraged to join extracurriculars that cater to their interests and their talents are often showcased from our events such as the Art Fest, annual sports events, and many more. Overall, I believe that SVP is a great choice for students who wants to have an enhanced learning experience, being balanced between academic and non-academic aspects.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have had one child graduate grade 12 last year and another is in grade 9 at SVP. As a diplomat my children have attended a number of schools over their school life. What I can say is that no school is perfect every school has its own problems. However, what I appreciate about SVP is the fact that the school leaders are responsive to issues raised and action is taken. My eldest child successfully entered university in Singapore and I know his success is due to the support he received from the school. SVP really is a family and the students with the right attitude can be successful. I just read how the students from SVP gained 67th place in the World Scholars Cup - an amazing accomplishment. I also saw on social media how the students helped clean up the Kemang Pratama area on the weekend. Everyone has a different experience but when I speak to my children and when I think about our family's experience all I can say is I am glad I made the choice to send them to this school. I know my children are developing as global citizens and I know they are cared for. I also heard about the school's strategic plan - so I know the school has plans to improve itself. Both my children only have positive things to say about the school and in particular my son in Grade 9 has told me of the recent changes. So a school focused on improving is the right school for my children. Well done SVP - keep on getting better and better.
