★ ★ ★ ★ ★ THERE is restricted building and areas but still unauthorized personnels freely operated. Unfortunately the authorized ones are hard to find. Petty corruption openly happening in all process. Lack of signages and directional marks. A tiring process of making driving license.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ SIM A renewal at Daan Mogot: an agent offered for 1million, another 750, and the third 500. Although most reviews showed a corrupted system, decided to give it a try.
The experience was excellent; the officers were unexpectedly cooperative, including the photocopy shop keepers outside, except one medical staff who hesitated to show me the way ahead.
The steps to follow: register at the counter with all needed papers-medical-pay fee(opposite building)-fill in the form-stamp it-go to photo-go to the delivery counter and wait for your name call.
Only the photo session took time, it was a long wait of 2hrs. For a half-day, around 500 people were there. As I was not well versed in Bahasa and the procedures, it took around 3.5hrs. Next time if I go, I can finish it within 2 hrs with a smart plan.
Kudos to all the officers who are friendly and professional. Love you all.
