★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You'll find a lot of Minangese people eat here so guaranteed it's good, haha. Sauce is thick with stronger blend of spices than most places (cue Ajo Ram*n and Mak Sy*kur). They offer meat and innards satay, but no beef tongue. For sides they have cattle skin crackers, spicy cassava crisps and Sala Lauak--kind of croquettes made with rice flour and crushed anchovies. Sala Lauak is a rare treat so make sure to try it here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sate padang street food in Jakarta and usually crowded. Has a limited parking space. For me the taste is just fine, the broth is thick and spicy but the meat is not very tender and less smokey.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first time tasting authentic Padang satay. Yes, even the employees are Minangese. The sauce is quite thick and rich in flavour. They have bigger slices of beef than most satay do. To be frank, I come to know about Padang satay as spicy culinary, but little do I find strong spiciness in their sauce. But thanks to it, still the best satay I've experienced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In my opinion, this is the best Sate Padang in Jakarta. It’s located at the roadside, a lil tricky to park your vehicle here. Their sauce is the best, with the right spiciness, thickness, and rich of seasoning. They’re not being stingy with the meat portion. Don’t forget to take Sala to accompany your satay!
