★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of our favorite "sate klathak warung" in Jogja. If you are a fan of mutton dishes so you really need to visit this place. They have sate klathak, original satay, tengkleng, gulai and tongseng.
Sate Klathak is a traditional mutton satay with only salt and pepper seasoning serve with curry soup. The most distinctive about this satay is the use of bicycle spokes as the skewer. In addition, you will get only two pieces for a portion, but don't worry the portion is quiete big.
If you like bonny sensation for your dish you can ask for tengkleng in your order. Tengkleng is a mutton bone stew and the taste is sweet.
Gulai is Indonesian version of curry, meanwhile tongseng is more like stew.
For the drink you can ask for tea, orange, poci tea, and wedang uwuh.
The best thing is this warung now open from morning to midnight (9 to 24). It is located in Jl Damai, around Kaliurang St. KM 8.5, sorrounded with other eating places .
As this is a warung, so we can freely dress up and no formality needed.

This place is located in the north of Yogyakarta city which is served the main menu of "Sate" Many visitors is come to this place in the lunch time until afternoon. Presentation of the "Sate" is always fresh, unique with steel swekers. Available some drinks that can be choose by the visitors. The dining area is not very wide, crowded and hot air. The parking area is limited, the price is worth it with taste quality and customer experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The satay is very soft. A portion consist of 2 sate klathaks. Trust me, 2 klathaks satay will make you full. I bought sate klathak and tongseng wich all made from lamb. Don't be shy to make another a portion of rice addition. You'll need it ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beesssttttt lamb satay in north Yogyakarta :') This place is my rescue when I desire a satay with Jejeran style ?. All their menus are recommended ! But my favourite are klathak and tengkleng. Another things I like from Sate Pangestu is when you order hot tea. They will serve you kind of teh Poci with gula batu and tea refill
