★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ini pertama kalinya aku mampir ke Samatha, maklum.. orang Jakarta yang satu ini memang jarang singgah ke Depok, hehe. Padahal sudah tau Samatha dari lama bahkan dari awal mereka buka, tapi baru kali ini melihat tempatnya secara nyata bukan dari tampilan layar saja.
Lokasinya ada di tepi jalan yang cukup ramai, patokannya persis di samping Perumahan Bumi Cimanggis Indah. Tempat ini memiliki konsep industrial yang kekinian dengan interior bernuansa abu-abu dan dihiasi beberapa tanaman hijau. Di bagian depan ada outdoor area dengan undakan sebagai area duduknya sedangkan di dalam juga ada satu ruangan dengan meja dan bangku tinggi yang dilengkapi dengan stop kontak di bagian bawah meja, spot ini asik untuk yang mau ngopi sambil laptopan. Walau pun Samatha ini bukan coffeeshop dengan lahan besar, tapi mereka tetap menyediakan ruang sholat di pojok ruangan, salut!
Disini aku coba Rice Bowl Katsu dan Choco Strawberry Frappe, keduanya dibanderol dengan harga di bawah 30.000 masing-masingnya. Menurutku harganya terjangkau dan ramah juga untuk kantong pelajar/mahasiswa, apalagi porsi rice bowlnya padat dan mengenyangkan. Katsunya enak karena ayamnya cukup tebal dan digorengnya pun nggak terlalu kering, aku juga suka saus katsunya. Hidangan ini juga dilengkapi dengan telur orak-arik yang di dalamnya ada tambahan wortel, jagung dan buncis, jadi menurutku hidangan ini punya komposisi yang lengkap. Choco strawberry nya juga enak, rasa cokelat dan strawberrynya balance banget, cokelatnya nggak terlalu pahit dan rasa manis di minuman ini juga pas, suka banget!
 This is the first time I've stopped by Samatha, you know... this Jakarta person rarely visits Depok, hehe. Even though I've known Samatha for a long time even from the start they opened, but this is the first time I've seen the place for real, not just from the screen.
The location is on the edge of a fairly busy road, the benchmark is right next to the Bumi Cimanggis Indah Housing Estate. This place has a modern industrial concept with a gray interior decorated with green plants. At the front there is an outdoor area with steps as a seating area, while inside there is also a room with a high table and bench equipped with a power outlet at the bottom of the table, this is a cool spot for those who want to have coffee while laptop. Even though Samatha is not a coffeeshop with a large area, they still provide a prayer room in the corner of the room, salute!
Here I tried the Rice Bowl Katsu and the Choco Strawberry Frappe, both of which are priced under 30,000 each. I think the price is affordable and also friendly for students' pockets, especially the portion of the rice bowl is solid and filling. The katsu is delicious because the chicken is quite thick and the fried is not too dry, I also like the katsu sauce. This dish also comes with scrambled eggs topped with carrots, corn and chickpeas, so I think this dish has a complete composition. The choco strawberry is also delicious, the chocolate and strawberry flavors are very balanced, the chocolate is not too bitter and the sweetness in this drink is just right, I really like it!
