★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been to Vietnam and spent almost 2 weeks there, so I kinda have a high expectation. Even though the menu selections at this restaurant is quite diverse, but they taste nothing like the original aka not authentic at all. The pho was bland, the banh mi lacked of filling and seasoning, banh xeo was too oily. And was very disappointed with the service that my brother had to wait too long before his food arrived because the waitress forgot to put it into the system (and the restaurant wasn’t even 1/4-full!)

The brand had a problem with food quality in one of their outlet in 2019/2020 and we didn’t visit them for a while.
But we tried them again and they came back stronger.
More menus, many items are unique.
Food quality is good, delicious broth, fresh ingredients.
Prices are higher, with some menus reaching Rp 155k. Yet the quality and portion size make the prices still a good value
Our taste benchmark for Vietnamese is Mei Vui in Bali, Saigon Delight is 9 out 10 in terms of taste. A very strong contender.
For this outlet, seating are rather high density. Place is clean. Though we did one table still not being cleaned when we arrive at it was still quiet.
As this particular outlet is located in Gandaria City, parking and toilet are abundant.

I ordered their banh mi ban xao delight. Baguette with chicken pate mayo coriander and delightful Australian Ribeye Beef. Soo good!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saigon Delight represents the right true Vietnamese dishes with all the fresh veggies that you won’t find anywhere else in most of Vietnamese restaurants in Indonesia.
This one located within Gandaria City is one very open and comfy place located on the ground floor across from Hai Di Lao, has a lot of seatings too. The food and drinks are truly amazing, representation of fresh herbs and veggie mix with fresh soup and sauce.
The summer rolls, vermicelli beef, pho dac biet, banh mi, and the broken rice dishes are all so zesty and tasty, there’s no hint of a fusion taste at all.
