★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Authentic chinese food, price is affordable. Beware because some of food contain pork. The portion is big can be shared up to 3-4 person. Parking spaces very limited. Scooters park in pedestrian pavement. Watch out the operational hours before visiting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reminds me of the early 70s with the ambience and decor, also the food as amazing! I highly recommend the ham fried rice (nasi goreng ham) unfortunately it's not halal but if you can eat pork then you must definitely try this.
TLDR: I forgot to mention the price, it was surprisingly cheap. The bistik sapi was their specialty and it was only for 125K (around 8 dollars) but the portion was huge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When i entered the resto, the smell of the old interior was unpleasant which gave me a first bad impression, but somehow i still gave the chance to taste the meal on the menu as people said this place is a legend.
It took time apparently to get the 3 dish that i order. A Turn off. Once the food came, i tasted them for a while and realized that a worm was in the veggies. It gave me an idea on how the staff was not careful on cleaning their ingredients and that the kitchen might be also dirty. My appetite was suddenly gone.
Sadly i had to pay for those pricey food. Will never come back for sure

Better to come in group, so you can taste many menus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm back to this magnificent place after 40yrs. Went down here with parents when i was 8 or 10, not sure. Our house was nearby. Even I have missed it for such that long, everything in the restaurant feels like the old times: the lighting, ambience, smell, and food of course.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Legendary Authentic Chinese Restaurant in Jakarta, 9 of 10. I've been their regular customer for years and the food tastes surprisingly has never changed. Amazing.
The downside is they don't modernize the restaurant and facilitate with AC, considering their prize is similar with many Chinese Restaurants in the mall like Njun Njan to mention one.
