★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As good as any padang restaurant can be. They just have their place rennovated and the place still feels a little empty. While the staff were doing their job well, it is unfortunate that they choose not to confront guests who smokes inside an air-conditioned room, in front of children who are eating as well. However as much as history can tell, the structure of our social class and education level determines the kind of life each of us lives. The fact that these people practice their habitual tendencies reflect the culture they choose to pass on to their future generations.

First time visit the cashier said the minimum bill to use debit card us 100k. While on other branch is ussually 50k.
Second visit. The cashier said prefer cash, even my bill is more than 100k. After I said I got no cash and last time debit can be used, the cashier willing to use the EDC. It turn out she just lazy to use it.
Other thing to note, even the taste is good but they serve me unedible kikil. What I am paying? Food? Unedible... Service? Very bad experience...
Is it because my casual clothing? Man, very discriminating. No response for the years old complaints.
Red flag for this one ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sederhana Restaurant is a Padang food restaurant that has many branches in Jakarta. This is a branch located at Jalan Hang Lekir. Located on a side street so it is easy to find it. This restaurant has a parking space that can accommodate approximately 6 cars and several motorbikes. The restaurant itself is not too big but is suitable if you want to meet small-scale businesses or reunions. May still fit up to 20 people. Padang cuisine itself is very well known, with rendang being one of the most delicious dishes in the world. The taste of the spices here is very rich and delicious. A reasonable price for the taste you get.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My go-to Padang Restaurant for Ayam Pop and as always never disappoint. If you order Ayam Pop, they will heat it up and dunk the chicken in the hot oil before serving it to you. It came with a plate of daun singkong and sambel tomat for dipping. For me, the chicken itself is already flavorful on itself and it is definitely a rice thief! Their paru goreng is also very crispy and not too salty like in other places.
