★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible. Esp for tourists.
First thing they do, literally 20seconds after sitting down, is put down 15 odd plates of food in front of you. Wether you want them or not.
We also asked for prices but they wouldn't give any. Saying "you eat then u pay", but wouldn't say how much.
It made me wonder what do they do to the leftovers? The only logic reason was recycle to the next customer.
We had to ask them politely to take most of them back as many were not according to our taste, not to mention some were egg and fish, due to dietary restrictions we had to stay away from that. This caused one of our party having to move away due to serious nausea.
We stuck to one or two chicken dishes rather than walking out as the whole situation was crazy. Throw into that, some very poor English, only one staff member knew a little English. Rest didn't.
Finally gave us a menu to look at and we saw they had English translation next to each item...why didn't they give us that to start?
Finally when we finished the little we ate, the bill was extortionate. They struggled to explain what each item was.
All in all a miserable afternoon which left a poor taste in mouth and pain in the stomach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got straight up scammed in this restaurant. They added extra items to the bill and refused to take off. The final amount I paid was almost exactly 2x the things I ordered. I did not eat any extra stuff that I didn't order.
Food is cold and mediocre. Cannot recommend to any foreigners.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited this restaurant a few month ago for lunch. It was quite full at that time. We ordered for Nasi Rames with Ikan Bakar and Kikil. The taste of foods were very good but the portion is not to large. The service was fast no need to wait for long untill our orders were served. The room were cooled with air cons. The toilet was clean. The price was moderate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Padang restaurant is located near Gondangdia Station. The most delicious menu is rendang and dendeng. If you don't want to come to the location, you can order and transfer to your place. This restaurant has been open since the morning but only sells vegetable lontong which tastes good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is not for the faint-hearted and fussy with food. This is a hole-in-the-wall place but vet decent and worth your buck. Well, from the photo, we spent about 300,000 Rupiah for all of these and boy, it’s more than we can handle (in a good way).
If you are a tourist, don’t mind the language barrier, just don’t eat what you think is “suspicious” and they won’t charge you for it.
If you’re around this part of Jakarta, drop by with an empty stomach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place for nasi padang, all are tasty, speedy service, clean rest room. Parking space limited, you can park on Cut Mutia Mosque nearby though.
