I visited to hometown of Raja Uduk at Pontianak and falling in love with the grilled ribs and the Tempe Penyet Ikan teri and especially the Nasi Uduk itself since then ..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It feels like eating mom's food back home. Raja Uduk is a restaurant branch from Pontianak. It serves Malay food, tasty, sweet, hot and spicy. The Nasi Uduk (Rice cooked with coconut milk) is very creamy rich with coconut taste, sooo delicious. When entering the entrance door, the waiters will greet you in Malay. "Ade yang datang" (Someone is coming) The walls have pictures of Pontianak atmosphere, the river life and Equator Monument. They also play Malay song with funny lirics. Try Kerupok Basah, almost like Mpek-mpek from Palembang but it serves with peanut sauce

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Becoz when arriving here in the middle of afternon snack time so i only order their Pontianak coffee and fried fish crackers with sauce. The coffee is oke and the waiter is quiet helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A huge cafe and serving specialty dish from West Kalimantan, especially Nasi Uduk and Pontianak Coffee. Good taste of Foods and beverages. I like Kopi Pontianak, coffee with milk , but need to maintain the service standard. Moderate price's and great ambience. Helpful and friendly staff's, good services.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has very good food from pontianak, west kalimantan. Although The recommendation dish is iga bakar but, in my opinion, other dishes also have stunning taste. For example gembong asin, dried mackarel fish that is fried then springkled with fresh chopped shallot, tomatoes, smelly bean (pete) and poured by lime juice. Sour and salty are mixed in thr unique combination, fresh and savoury.
Tempe penyet teri also the best, perfect combination
For drink I would like recommend you es jeruk pontianak. Sweet and sour and I think they add coconut water because the taste is so creamy.
