★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came here when it's time to break fasting, so it was understandable when the service was rendered slower than usual. We ordered fried rice with anchovies, it was nice, served in a hot bowl with fried egg (not sunny side up as both sides were fried) and two fried prawns for the price of IDR70K. Fried flat-rice noodle with shrimp paste was delicious for the price of IDR50K. They also served Badak, a special carbonated beverage that's famous in North Sumatera, for the price of IDR28K

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been a fan of their Mie Kangkung Terasi hotplate ever since they first opened years ago. My mom loves it too. Good thing the taste are as good as always, even better maybe.
The toasts are also good here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very bright comfortable looking shop in this mall serving up a variety of simple local quick meal of sorts. Ideal to while the time away on a lazy afternoon with a cup of coffee. Will be helpful if the service staff were a little more enthusiastic and friendly when dealing with customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to hang with good choice of meals. Especially for Peranakan-Chinese cuisine.
I'm a bit dissapointed to choose one of their Signature Dish, Horfun Seafood Kepiting. It is plain and tasteless, either it is made to be like that or else. This, I won't order anymore.
Because other menus we ordered: Horfun Sapi Lada Hitam (Vermicelli with Beef Blackpepper), Nasi Tom Yum Seafood (rice with Seafood Tom Yum) and Mie Kangkung. All came tasty. Full of spices and delicious.
And thanks to the other meals, I only placed 4 of 5 stars. I don't think that Horfun Seafood Kepiting should be in Signature Dish, and it's kinda pricey for something like that.
The beverages, Tea Tarik Peng and Kopi Tarik Peng is great. A repeat order is a must for me. Kind of remind me about traditional and classic tea/coffee I've tasted in a local kopitiam in Singapore.
The place is also clean, crews were polite and friendly. I will keep coming here to try other menus, but I won't buy the Horfun Seafood Kepiting.
