★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed with a group booking there and I got Ohshibi 2 land cottage. The room is comfortable and clean enough. The aircon works well too. The problem is just reception is very limited.

Pulau Ayer is a resort island so the accomodation here is profesionally managed rather than a local homestay.
With the first cotage built on the 50s and opened for public since the 80s the whole facility is like a time capsule, however the resort is VERY well maintained.
All facilities are in tip top condition. We stayed in a duplex bungalow that can accomodate 4 people. Air condition are new and so is the water heater.
There is a mineral water dispenser in the room.
Food here have good taste, there is a convinient store with reasonable price.
One of the dowside is that the beach cannot be used for swimming. For those who wants to do snorkeling etc will need to charter a boat and go elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So pretty and peaceful.i only go in weekdays when there are less people. In weekends it's occupied by locals. Staff is okay. They can be extra nice when they want to.Food is good at the restaurant.
