★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good preserved heritage building. Although it usually packed due to a skinny sitting area, I found this building is quite beautiful. Considering the ongoing renovation, I believe this station could be even more beautiful years ahead. Adding some greenery here and there would make it perfect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of 2 big train station in Semarang, Poncol famous because they provide more local and economic class train rute.
Now Poncol has been improved, they have a big parking lot for cars and motorcycles. But still lack of other facilities like foodcourt, ATM, and toilet.
They dont have BCA and Mandiri ATM, just a few foodcourt, and two outside toilet. I hope the improve this side also for the sake of customer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of active station in Semarang,mostly for economy and local train heading to some other city in west Java,central java or east Java such as cirebon, yogya, or Surabaya,Blitar. Quite big and no hasle,big parking lot, some convenience store and coffee shop available here. You can have genose test here and spare some hours before your departure schedule. Local train no need covid check up test.
