Dataran Kabupaten Purworejo ini tersusun oleh endapan aluvium yang terutama berasal dari rombakan batuan gunung api Tersier penyusun Pegunungan Serayu Selatan dan Pegunungan Menoreh, serta Gunung Api Kuarter Gunung Sumbing. Di bagian utara sebelah timur endapan rombakan tua membentuk kipas aluvium Purworejo, sedangkan di sebelah barat membentuk kipas aluvium Kutoarjo.
Purworejo Regency is part of the alluvium plain of South Central Java, which is bounded by the South Serayu Mountains and Sumbing Mountain to the north, the Menoreh Mountains in the east, the Indian Ocean in the south and the Kebumen-Banyumas plain in the west. The plains of Purworejo Regency are composed of alluvium deposits which mainly come from the rubble of Tertiary volcanic rocks that make up the South Serayu Mountains and Menoreh Mountains, as well as the Sumbing Quaternary Volcano. In the north, the old cleavage deposits form the Purworejo alluvium fan, while in the west it forms the Kutoarjo alluvium fan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pendopo kabupaten purworejo bangunan megah dengan nuansa jawa yang kental. Lingkungannya juga tertata dan bersih. Sering dipergunakan untuk berbagai macam acara. Pendopo ini terbilang tua namun masih terlihat sangat kokoh sengan nuansa coklat hijau khas mataram menambah keagungan bangunan. Lingkungan sekitar juga terlihat seauai dengan arsitektur bangunan ini.
Purworejo Regency Hall is a magnificent building with thick Javanese nuances. The environment is also organized and clean. Often used for various types of events. This pavilion is fairly old but still looks very sturdy with shades of green typical brown matara adds to the grandeur of the building. The surrounding environment also looks like the architecture of this building.
