Perusahaan Daerah Bank Perkreditan Rakyat Bank Bapas 69 (PD BPR Bank Bapas 69), didirikan pada tahun 1954 berdasarkan Peraturan Daerah Kabupaten Magelang No. 14/DPR tertanggal 28 April 1954. Namun demikian, perusahaan baru memulai kegiatan usaha secara keseluruhan sejak tahun 1969 berdasarkan Surat Keputusan Bupati Kepala Daerah Tingkat II Magelang No. 50/KD/K/69, tertanggal 9 September 1969, Surat Keputusan Bupati Kepala Daerah Tingkat II Magelang No. 43/PUB/69 tertanggal 19 September 1969, dan Anggaran Dasar/Peraturan Pendirian Bank Pasar No. 14/DPR/54.
Perda pendirian PD BPR Bank Bapas 69 telah diperbarui dengan Perda Kabupaten Magelang Nomor 16 Tahun 2002 tertanggal 26 Oktober 2002 dan telah diundangkan oleh Sekretaris Daerah Kabupaten Magelang tanggal 28 Oktober 2002 serta lembaran Daerah Kabupaten Magelang Tahun 2002 Nomor: 30 seri D.
Sejak tahun 1976 PD BPR Bank Bapas 69 mendapatkan Izin usaha dari Menteri Keuangan Republik Indonesia, berdasarkan Surat Keterangan Menteri Keuangan Republik Indonesia No. B-7832/DJM-1I1.3/12/1976, tertanggal 24 Desembner 1976 dan Keputusan Menteri Keuangan RI No. Kep 525/KM.17/1997 tertanggal 9 Oktober 1997 tentang Persetujuan Perubahan Nama PD Bank Pasar Kabupaten Dati II Magelang menjadi PD BPR Bank Pasar Kabupaten Dati II Magelang.
Tahun 2002, berdasarkan Perda Kabupaten Magelang Nomor 16 Tahun 2002 tertanggal 26 Oktober 2002, nama perusahaan diganti menjadi PD BPR Bapas 69. Perubahan nama ini telah mendapatkan persetujuan Bank Indonesia Semarang No. 4/1948/DPBPR/IDBPR!Sm tertanggal 3 Desember 2002. Pada tahun 2009 lalu berdasarkan Peraturan Daerah (Perda) Kabupaten Magelang No.5 tahun 2009, tertanggal 21 Agustus 2009 disahkan perubahan nama menjadi PD. BPR. Bank Bapas 69. Terakhir Peraturan Daerah Kabupaten Magelang No. 5 Tahun 2009 dirubah lagi menjadi Peraturan Daerah Kabupaten Magelang No. 3 Tahun 2013 tentang Perusahaan Daerah Bank Perkreditan Rakyat Bank Bapas 69.

Regional company Bank Perkreditan Rakyat Bank Bapas 69 (PD BPR Bank Bapas 69), was founded in 1954 based on Regional Regulation No. Magelang Regency. 14 / DPR dated 28 April 1954. However, the company has only started its overall business activities since 1969 based on the Decree of the Regent of the Head of the Magelang Region No. 50 / KD / K / 69, dated 9 September 1969, Decree of the Regent of the Head of Magelang Region No. 43 / PUB / 69 dated 19 September 1969, and the Articles of Association / Market Bank Establishment Regulation No. 14 / DPR / 54.
The regional regulation on the establishment of PD BPR Bank Bapas 69 has been updated with the Regional Regulation of Magelang Regency Number 16 of 2002 dated October 26, 2002 and has been promulgated by the Regional Secretary of Magelang Regency on October 28, 2002 as well as the Regional Gazette of Magelang Regency of 2002 Number: 30 series D.
Since 1976 PD BPR Bank Bapas 69 has obtained a business license from the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, based on the Certificate of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia No. B-7832 / DJM-1I1.3 / 12/1976, dated 24 December 1976 and Decree of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia No. Kep 525 / KM.17 / 1997 dated 9 October 1997 concerning the Approval of the Change of Name of PD Market Bank in Dati II Magelang Regency to become PD BPR Bank Pasar of Dati II Magelang Regency.
In 2002, based on the Regional Regulation of Magelang Regency Number 16 of 2002 dated October 26, 2002, the name of the company was changed to PD BPR Bapas 69. This name change has received approval from Bank Indonesia Semarang No. 4/1948 / DPBPR / IDBPR! Sm dated 3 December 2002. In 2009, based on the Regional Regulation (Perda) of Magelang Regency No.5 of 2009, dated 21 August 2009, the name change to PD was legalized. BPR. Bank Bapas 69. Finally, Magelang District Regulation No. 5 of 2009 was amended again into the Regional Regulation of Magelang Regency No. 3 of 2013 concerning Regional Companies for Rural Banks, Bank Bapas 69.
