Di tahun 1970-an Pasar Senen, sebelum ada Atrium, di era Gubernur DCI Djakarta Ali Sadikin merupakan bangunan pasar yang megah dimana di lantai paling atas ada 'Amusement Center' yang dilengkapi wahana bianglala, komidi puter dll mirip Mal AEON sekarang di Jakarta Timur dan halaman depannya disediakan sejumlah tempat duduk permanen untuk para pengunjung yang ingin istirahat usai berbelanja
