Dulu masyarakat Karangwaru Lor dan sekitarnya sering menyebut pasar dengan sebutan Pasar Ledok ( menurun atau dangkal banyak lumpur) ya Ledok itu dulu bukan karena tempat nya yang Berada di bawah bahu jalan Magelang, jadi pasar nya sama Jalan Lebih tinggi jalan nya, Tapi kata Ledok dulu lebih sering di gunakan dan di ucapkan oleh Porter,Ojek,sama Kuli panggul yang mengantar barang maupun pedagang di pasar Karangwaru Saat ini, Ledok yang di maksud latar pasar nya masih tanah dan sewaktu Hujan membuat kontur nya menjadi lumpur, maka dari itu sebutan Ledok ialah susah nya orang bekerja dan berjalan di dalam pasar.
Ada nya kebijakan dana untuk renovasi pun terealisasi dan meski menghilangkan citra bangunan kuno pedagang pun merasa bahagia dan tidak keberatan , sudah beberapa kali melakukan rombak dan renovasi terakhir 3 tahun yang lalu Dan di resmikan nya menjadi Nama Pasar Karangwaru hingga saat ini.
Saya foto sebagian dari bangunan yang kiranya sudah rusak dan butuh perawatan kembali, saya coba berinteraksi sama salah satu pedagang dan menanyakan apakah sudah ada aduan?
Ternyata belum dan ungkap pedagang cuma ada orang yang foto-foto 2 kali itu pun sudah lama tapi tidak ada perkembangan sampai saat ini- pedagang pasar Karangwaru.
"Ya sebenarnya pengen mas di renovasi itu wastafel nya sama bocor nya, kalau di biarkan rusak nya semakin parah biaya perawatan nya juga besar nanti" ungkap Pak Jono Tukang Parkir.

In the past the Karangwaru Lor community and its surroundings often referred to the market as Pasar Ledok (decreasing or shallow lots of mud), the Ledok was not because the place was under the shoulder of the road in Magelang, so the market was the same as Jalan Jalan, but Ledok said first more frequently used and spoken by Porter, Ojek, the same as Kuli pelvis who delivered goods and merchants at Karangwaru market. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pasar karangwaru lokasi di jalan magelang belakang Puskesmas Tegalrejo. Termasuk ramai, keperluan buat bumbu dapur ada, lokasi strategis buat warga sekitarnya, dijangkau mudah.
Karangwaru market is located on Jalan Magelang behind the Tegalrejo Health Center. Including crowded, the need for spices is there, strategic location for surrounding residents, easy to reach.
