First of all, I do love sorbet more than ice cream. The freshness of the sorbet and the light taste of the fruits always delightful to me compared to the milky texture of ice cream. So, my opinion towards sorbet might not be very neutral lol. Tried the Mango sorbet first, and loved it so much, so ordered more of their faves; pineapple ginger, and tried one of the ice creams; vanilla. I love the pineapple ginger, too. And I love that they gave crumbles and small bitsy under the sorbet, that it added some textures and flavor combination which enhanced the taste of the sorbet itself. The vanilla ice cream was nice, too. But as I said, I enjoy the sorbet more lol. What surprised me was, the fact that I didn't need to drink right after I ate them. I usually need to drink plain water to neutralize the sweetness, and the only one time I remember that I didn't need to drink after some ice cream was on my trip to Taiwan many years ago. They claimed that they only use the sweetness from the fruits and that's why it didn't make me wanna drink after. Well, I found the second one now here, at @paris.sorbet Service was warm and friendly, place was very cozy and spacious, price was not the cheapest but then it is worthy. I personally almost never look for anything cheap in particular, because I believe in value more than the price itself. I said worthy, since I know it needs extra knowledge, experiences, and tools to maintain the texture of the sorbet at certain temperature that it doesn't get melt easily but still smooth enough to be molded, I know it takes time to master the skill to create a perfect shape of sorbet like that, and I value the space and ambience which definitely costly, too. Will definitely be back later.

My husband is French, and we both approve that this restaurant has authentic taste of French cuisine. Especially, the sorbet, and the crepes. The sorbets come in small portion. However, in that small package, comes a bunch of flavor you dont find in any ice cream parlor out there, especially in Jakarta. And thats how an ice cream suppose to be, you want to eat ice cream because you want to indulge your taste bud, not filling up your stomach. The crepes, taste so content with flavors. Unlike, again many crepery in Jakarta i find it without any flavor, or just a flour taste. The Chicken Gordon Bleu, taste & presentation is on point. Comes with super creamy mashed potato, caramelized onion & mushroom. Staffs are friendly and attentive. However I suggest you to come during weekdays. The restaurant is typically packed in weekends. I like the vibe in the restaurant with major natural light during the day. But, it quite warm since it is in Jakarta especially when the restaurant is busy. There are 2 kinds of seat, 1 which is really low and the other is quite high. Both are very comfortable if you want to have a drink or coffee and just chill with friends. But not so comfortable to enjoy foods. It is may be due to the restaurant itself actually offers snacks, coffee, tea and brunch not specifically serve lunch or dinner. Even though it is located right on the side of busy road, don't worry large parking is available for both car and motorbike in the basement.

Lovely place for date day! Service was slow but food was pretty great. Coffee was good, but the star was definitely the sorbet! It's a bit pricy but it's not like anything I've tasted before in Jakarta. If you're in the area and looking for a coffee spot with some desserts, you should give this a try.

The place is quite big with enough parking space. There are indoor and outdoor seating. Went there for the sorbet, but they also serve savoury dishes. We can also buy the sorbet in big pint (around 400 ml) to take-away.

Paris Sorbet is a Bali-escape nestled in the ever-busy small street of Wolter Monginsidi. The place is designed for a cozy afternoon with the people you are closest with; the hours seem to pass quicker than they usually do in when you’re sitting on the rattan chairs. The fire escape staircase is even reminiscent of someplace far from Jakarta if you can shut out the traffic and motorcycles outside the entrance. Ambience-wise, this place is very much deserving of 5 stars, just for the vibes. However, when it comes to the food, the sorbet was just decent and the grilled chicken sandwich looked better than it tasted.
