β β β β β Been a while for wanted to go to Beau Bakery, finally we are here. Easy to get spot for parking, four of us but only 1 being check for body temperature!
I like the ambience very much, hot outside (smoking area). Location is clean, table and chair is comfortable. Inside is a bit crowded thus we sit outside, ordering tiramisu, croissants, sandwiches and latte. I like the taste, tasty and umami, all of us like the ambience, we stayed for a while, enjoying the early evening. All is good. Like it

β β β β β They have on of the best croissants! Even when you take them home and re-heat, still taste delicious. Tried their strawberry pancake.. looked appealing at first, but not sure why they make the cream warm not cold. Few bites just enough for me ?. Definitely will taste better if only they put cold cream and ice cream too!

β β β β β Many options for good food & drinks, the ambience is really nice, the staffs are friendly and helpful too. The outdoor area is spacious, so you don't need to worry if you don't like to eat in an indoor space during the pandemic. But parking lot for cars is a little bit limited when it's crowded.

β β β β β Situated at one of Jakarta's swankiest areas (close to Senopati as well), the prices on Beau's menu also reflect this.
Based on my observation while I was dining in, the eatery appeals to the 30s above crowd. There was almost no guests who looked like they could be college kids and there were no guests with children during my visit (thank goodness). The only crowd that was louder than the rest was a group of middle age business men with very noticeable, Central Javanese dialect. All in all, it was a good place for quiet afternoon tea and pastries for me and my friends.
Beau's dining area is divided into 3, the right wing area is outdoor but designated for NON-SMOKERS, while the left wing area is for SMOKERS. There is also a small dining area inside the bakery but very limited space.
The interior of the bakery screams, clean, woody meets chic and classy so I would say it was not designed with children or family in mind, in terms of tone and colors. Which is completely appropriate for a bakery of its class.
Pastries were aplenty and so were the drink items and entrees. Just be prepared for above average prices. Drinks range from 40k-95k and entrees are in the triple digits, with the exception of few items. When we were there we had some lemon pastries and tried their teas for the afternoon. Then we had soups for dinner. The chicken chowder on sourdough bowl is recommended!! Also their Summer breeze tea drink is also recommended!!
Please be informed of three things that might be a bit of a discomfort : 1. The bakery is under tight regulations in that dine in must be within one hour. If you wish to stay longer, you would have to close bill and open a new bill. Therefore you will frequently be visited by their waiter/ess all through your stay (on every hour, respectively) 2. The street of Cikajang can get very noisy and hectic as cars, motorbikes, buskers, ondel ondel and beggars roam the streets at night. For some, this might affect their dining experience, just to give you a heads up. 3. Parking is managed by Vallet Service. You would have to park a bit farther from the area if you wish to escape the Vallet Service.
Nevertheless, Cikajang's Vallet service (15k + tip to the Vallet man) isn't as ridiculously expensive as Senopati's Taco Bell's Vallet. Spoiler alert.

β β β β β This has been one of my favorite cafe. Iβve been their patron ever since theyβre opened few years back. My fave is the melted chocolate Croissant. But you have to get it as early as possible because itβs quite popular and runs out pretty fast. Iβve been back over and over but quite surprise that now all the greenery is becoming very lush. A perfect outdoor space to enjoy your cuppa and pastries. If you havenβt tried this place then come. Iβm sure this will become you fave place too!
