This is an old orphanage house for children since the Dutch colonial era and the activities continue until now. This orphanage is a specialty for girls.
Located at Jalan Kramat Sentiong No. 51 Senen area, Central Jakarta.
This orphanage house is clean and neat, the row of a bunk bed and a single bed lies in the sleeping room with the locker for each bed.
There's a meeting hall, classrooms for kindergarten, sports areas, study room, and a praying room.
I believe all children there live happily. Many social organizations give a visit and play with them, share the happiness with them.
You may come and give such a visit.
Besides taking care of children, this orphanage has another activity of taking care of the elderly in the neighborhood around that place. Many poor women, widows, and most of them are old women. Those elderly do not stay there but this place prepares food and medicine if they get sick.
Well to me it's a kind of Nursery House for the Elderly.
So one day I accompany friends from IWAPI (Indonesian business women association) central Jakarta district, give such a visit to them and sing and play together, make them happy and share happiness.
