★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good little beach. The winds are strong, so you gotta be careful with the waves. It is very crowded during the holidays (especially Eid). There are some food stalls and some souvenir stalls you can shop from. It is not the best beach but you pay almost nothing (only parking fee!) to be able to enter, so it is a good deal. Overall, it is a nice place to visit with your family or loved ones, especially since it now has some aesthetic photo spots :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although it has the potential to be a great tourist destination, especially with the addition of the sunflower garden nearby, its management leaves a lot to be desired. After the Eid holiday, there was little to no effort to clean up the beach. Litters were literally everywhere.
With the world looking down on Indonesia for its nationwide waste management issue, I would think any effort towards improvement has been initiated. We’ve got the work cut out for us to avoid huge environmental disasters.

There are interesting places like sunflower gardens, umbrella gardens, beautiful black sand beaches, and lots of swimming pools. Many cool photo spots. The location is very strategic. I like and often visit this beach. place to take your family outside to the beach but dont go swiming its dangerous. The beach, is one of the most popular tourism place at purworejo and arround, thousands people visit it every week, and there will be extrimely crowded at holyday of idul fitri. much cleaner and good view
