★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On a Saturday night I went to give this Japanese style Chinese cuisine restaurant a try as I have always loved Omurice, thinking they might serve something similar. I ordered the MaboTofu Omelette rice and their signature dish of Gyoza.
The dishes were OK, but a little on the salty side. Japanese rice was not used in the rice dish so that was a minus for me. Gyoza also tasted average.
Service is good and fast. Seating is quite packed together, so don't expect much privacy if the restaurant is full.
Price is average for a mall restaurant.
Restaurant is situated in the basement of Plaza Senayan and parking should be plentiful in the mall parking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located on LG- lower ground floor inside Plaza Senayan. Such a nicely-decorated, clean, and spacious place. The staffs are nice and informative with great service- face shield and masks are always on. They also apply covid19 health protocol. They offer some promotions such as 'happy hour' and other credit card promotion. The foods are great! not the best though, but still on my top 3 list for the most delicious pork gyoza (in jkt) i've ever taste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I will miss the authentic Osaka taste: gyoza, pork stamina don and fried rice set menu, plus the friendly staffs in Osaka Ohsho Plaza Senayan. Sadly after dinner tonight we were told they will close permanently by early May 2022.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there on Saturday at 6pm. Table of 3 + 1 toddler. Ordered food, waitress repeated the order, all confirmed. Waited until 30+ minutes, toddler already finished his bring-your-own meal but no order served even for drinks. Turns out our order hasn't been submitted to the system. Decided to leave and had our dinner at Bakmi GM instead.
Some suggestion to Osaka Ohsho management: you guys might need to add extra manpower during busy time or whoever handling the order need to double/triple check the order status whether it's been submitted or not. The waitress wasn't rude at all, but too bad we've been left clueless for our order status for a while.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I always order Osaka Ohsho's tenshinhan because it's the best and I have never found this menu elsewhere. The taste is rich & flavorful yet it's light so it doesn't overwhelm your taste buds & stomach. In Indonesian I would say it's "sama sekali nggak eneg". Make sure you have an appetite when eating there because when I first went to Osaka Ohsho I was overwhelmed with the portion so I took home the leftover tenshinhan a few times and when I reheated it at home, it tasted just as good as when I ate it in the restaurant! Now I just eat the whole thing in one sitting because I'm a pig and it's so good. Their gyoza is also good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Price wise this is a very great place to eat. Gyoza and pork kimchi tasted good. I think the highlight is their egg, they have this fluffy and buttery egg that is just so good. I tried their mapo tofu tenshinhan however the broth (or idk what they called it) was waaaay too thick. It was almost like agar agar. I would prefer it to be runnier as it the texture really put me off. But for the taste, nothing to complain about.
