★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely my to go restaurant when I can't decide on what to eat. the taste is exactly the same with the one in Japan.
I love all of their chicken katsu variation (tamago toji, miso, etc).
highly recommended!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Expensive sushi. Their service so slow. I order Unagi, Salmon Sashimi, and Chicken. Their Sushi isn't delicious. I don't enjoy eating sushi here. It's better for me to find another place for eating sushi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good portion. My grill mackerel is half the fish served with rice, soup and seaweed salad. Stir-fry chicken and vegetable with black vinegar sauce also good. The green tea is nice and thick.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ootoya is representation of almost all family owned restaurant food in japan (the equivalent of how they sell padang food in padang restaurant).
This however does not mean the food is not delicious or authentic, I had tried the seafood and meat course both are delicious and great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great taste if you are looking for authentic Japanese cuisine. Ordered grilled salmon, gyutan (beef tongue), gyoza (dumplings) with sets. Too bad the sushi and sashimi are not available. Good place with good covid protocols and very attentive waitresses.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always good and healthy Japanese food here. Tonight we enjoyed the salmon “sashimi” (IDR79K), salmon head (IDR75K), mini chicken “karaage” (IDR38K), and a signature menu of grilled “saba” fish and black vinegar chicken (IDR59K). Ligh, fresh and yet delicious. Fast service too.
