★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Many variety of choices to combine, many choices of soup and way of cooking your dish. So far I loved it and I went back twice already. A very good option if you're craving for some hot soupy comforty(?) food :) you pay as much as your dish weight.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a big fan of mala peppercorns and spicy food, the szechuan mala soup was not spicy enough for me. It lacked mala peppercorns 'numbing kick' and its unique fragrance. But Nuan's collagen soup was quite good, it's rich and brothy and perfectly seasoned. The ingredients was fresh and had quite wide selection. Overall a great experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's my first visit to Nuan and tlI had a great experience. The staffs are helpful in giving explanation. We can pick the ingredients by ourselves for the dish (meat, seafood, tofu, greens, mushrooms), put them in the provided container, then it will be scaled. The price will depend on the total weight of the ingredients. You can choose how they will cook them and you can also order rice / vermicelli / kwetiau (flat rice noodle) which is sold in personal portion. I chose tom yum soup for my dish, and it's yummy.

It's so tasty.
I am actually curious if they still have Mala flavor, but for stir fried.

We had collagen chicken broth and it was to die for. The service is amazing, the food was fresh and exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed our lunch because we had been searching for the simple comfort food and Nuan delivered.
Don't sleep on the chicken tenders they're juicy and flavorful. The liang tea was refreshing. All and all, you can expect us returning for more because we had an excellent time.
Many of the hotpot/shabu places in Jakarta could not bring this level of freshness and high quality broth. We ended up getting expensive flavorless broth that we can barely remember, but Nuan was the exception.
The location is tiny but easy to spot from the street. Plenty of parking space. They follow the health protocols for dine-in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When I ordered the spicy shichuan I was expecting a Mala experience, dried chilli, sichuan pepper, numb tounge, plenty of chili oil, and of course spicyness. Well, I got nothing of that. It taste more like an instant mala seasoning, it isn't even spicy. Nothing authentic about it. The chicken collagen soup is also so so. Bit the chicken is tender and cooked to perfection, so that's a plus. I think with the price, the taste should be much better.
