★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stumbled upon this place during daytime whilst looking out for a laundry place. It is hidden behind a wall that what looks like a house's wall. I came back at night and decided to have a taste because during daytime this restaurant is packed with patreons! I asked the waiter what's the best served here and he said "we are famous for our fried chicken sir" with a big smile. I take him up for it. Waited for 2 minutes until my drinks are served. I ordered alpukat and dragon fruit juices and damn they are pure fruits. After another 10 minutes of waiting my fried chickens came. I ordered thigh portions and they are the size of an adult quail's thigh. Pretty small for a chicken. But i know this is the portion of Jakarta. A city with people rushing to go somewhere and a time consuming food is not an option here. Took my first bite and i looked at the waiter's face. He smiled at me, i gave him a thumbs up. It is tasty, flavourful, crispy on tge outside but smooth soft on the inside. The mixture of sambal uduk, sambal kacang and saus kacang brings that sweet sour nutty and a tad of hot into my mouth. This place deserves its better review. The minus one is for its a bit less clean but to say it's unclean is not fair as it is an open air/ garage style restaurant. The end

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ one of the best nasi uduk in Jakarta, must try when you visit this city of "macet". Recently their quite big place with some parking lot become smaller, although food still ok but little bit hot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the nasi uduk joints in the area, and one that serves among the most complete variety of fried assortmenta to accompany your nasi uduk (coconut milk steamed rice). Standard small portion of nasi uduk wrapped in banana leaves with separate fried shallot eaten with fried chicken or shrimps or anythig you like. Also serve soto Betawi. Not the best in the area, mind you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The nasi uduk is ok, it's pretty good. But the others menu, i don't think I like the taste, it's too sweet for me. I'm still searching for the reasons why there are so many people comes to this place, the sambals which were always be the main factor of the deliciousness was also not delicious (for me). The floor is slippery, or it's not just slippery but it's totally wet when I was there. And the price is too expensive. I gave 3 stars just for the nasi uduk.

The nasi uduk (kind of nasi lemak, Batavia's traditional food) served in small size in banana leaf, you might eat it in some serving because it will not enough and its delicious surely. Eat with nuts souce and fried onions, then add with some side dished, such as fried chicken, chicken offal, fresh vegetables, and so on. Alert: they don't have parking lot and air conditioner, but worth to eat here as your Indonesian culinary experience. And its cheap too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The taste and smell of the nasi uduk is not strong enough... The fried chicken is tender, the empal is not too tough to chew, chili sauce for me is not spicy at all, maybe because chillies are expensive nowadays.. the peanut sauce is delicious. Overall, I think it's worth it for the cheap price.
The owner and the waiters are very friendly.
