Great dinner place in Jakarta! Keep in mind that this restaurant is one of those 'fine-dining' restaurant, therefore a reservation in advance is required. The price is quite high, especially compared with other restaurants and the low living cost in Jakarta, but it will certainly provide you with a unique experience. The restaurant's main idea is molecular gastronomy, which simply means weird sciency foods! This does not mean that they serve weird ingredients, it is just that they are presented or made with bizzare techniques, and some of these will definitely blow your mind! I really like how they have a certain theme for their food. When I came here, the theme is movie, as such they present the food in such a way to replicate a cinema, they also have some interesting acts performed by the waiters, etc. Back to the 'molecular gastronomy', the food itself is delicious and they never look or taste like what you imagine. Majority of the menu is traditional Indonesian food that is presented in a completely new way, they will present each of the dish and explain to you what it is made of and how to eat it. There are around 15 distinct dish, the portion for each of them is quite small, but there are plenty of them, so you don't need to worry about not feeling full after the feast. As with regular restaurants, they will start from appetizers, then to heavier meals, and finally some deserts. Always keep your eyes open as they have a lot of surprises in their disposal. The restaurant itself is quite secluded, they do not have a sign to show where they are located, my suggestion is just to drive to the general area using your GPS, then when you arrived, open your car's window and start asking the people on the street for the restaurant. I believe they have a valet service and try to find this, they should be standing on the side of the street and will definitely point you to where the restaurant is.

It is one of those culinary experience you have to see for yourself to believe. The whole dinner course costs about Rp 1.250.000 per person, and you have to booked ahead. I’ve been coming here since 2016, and have tried several of Chef Andrian Ishak’s creative concepts of molecular gastronomy. It was fun and quirky to say the least.

The waitress is helpful and polite. The Ramen that I order quite big size. But the chicken doesn't fit the Ramen it should be beef or even pork instead. The soup of the Ramen taste salty not rich with broth.

Fun and fine dining here, i think the price is really worth compare price and what you get in thisnplace, sop is good, before dining you will have question for comfortabling you. Asking your request, any special condition likes birthday or anniversary. Total 16 dishes with the uniqness and delicious dish, i think i will back to this resto at least once a year.

Came here for christmas eve dinner and it was the worst experience ever. The food was very unpleasant, i had stomach ache afterwards, they spend way too much for the gimmick, put sambal on every single dish, and didn’t care about how bad the food quality was. Such a let down. What a waste of time and so not worth it.

It is a fun dining experience at a good price point. However it is not molecular (nor really gastronomy). It was food with an interesting presentation. Do not expect a Gaggan (Bangkok, Thailand) or true molecular gastronomy experience - there are only a few spherical twists on food and emulsifications (and a bit of milk foam) that try to twist your perception on the taste vs appearance. The chef and staff clearly struggle with main course dishes and excel at the desserts or lighter, fun dishes - but the make your own soup/blend your own ingredients was neither fun nor had any surprise ending... we made our own soup at table. The reviews and photos show what you are in for, which reveals a menu that has not changed and stagnates - a pale shadow of what a place that bills itself as a molecular gastronomy place COULD be. The mediocre ambiance and space lost another star; I mean we could see the dishes being assembled on a table in the back! Our meat dish was served undercooked (see photos), which may have caused the table next to ours to leave early.

If you’re looking for a new dining experience & have fun with disco strobe lighting then you come to the right place…We’re not comfortable with the settings & ambience. Decent price for such a molecular gastronomy experience with the focus of Indonesian Culture.
