★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located on the edge of Fatahilla Square in Kota Tua area of Jakarta. Great museum of Indonesian artists. There are traditional sculptures throughout with classic Dutch architecture. Beautiful tile work and some nice stained glass. Well worth the visit. Nice inner garden area AND on Saturday there is a kick wheel throwing class from 10-12. Check the times to be sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This museum was really cool! It was easy to navigate and had multiple exhibits. There were signs in both Indonesian and English, which was convenient - but you may still want to translate some things (I did). For the 5000 idr entrance fee, it was totally worth it. It took me 1 - 2 hours to go through the entire museum. The exhibits were very similar in style with a lot of clay pots and figurines. The art was beautiful!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to visit. One of interesting museum in Kota Tua Jakarta, North Jakarta. Easy to find and accessed by train or Bus Transjakarta. Cheap price.
The building is separated into few times. Easy to get directions enter to where then where. Many place have good lighting. There 2 stairs, I think, that are uniquely design but strong. There is garden that make us so comfort to get relax and also small exhibition hall in the front.

Indonesia is wonderful and has vast wonderful artistic products that you ever see.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easily accessible with public transport. If you are totally free with nothing else to do for the day, worth pay a visit to this museum. It is a fairly lean furnishings. The air conditioning is still not working yet, it would be great if there’s at least stand fan for better ventilation. Admission fee is IDR5K.
One section at the upper floor, the timber flooring and spiral staircase are stored in it’s original form.
After visiting the museum, we had a meal at the Batavia. It is a nice 2-storey restaurant with colonial interior and ambiance. On the upper floor, one can enjoy the view of the museum and Fatahillah Square. My only qualms of the restaurant is that most the imported beers and cakes are out of stocks. The staff are friendly, the one who served us speaks English well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ a really interesting place to bring your children to learn and discover new knowledge. the entrance fee is very cheap but you have to buy jak card with price 35 k and can be used for multiple people. the place is quite old as it is ex dutch's collonial building but the collection are very valuable also the guide is very informative and friendly
