Secara singkat, saya membeli iPhone 12 mini 2nd Hand di salah satu Marketplace, model X/A, Garansi AppleCare+ sampai 7 November 2023. Saat pertama kali menggunakan device, saya sudah menyadari adanya red tint dan dim issue pada iPhone ini. Karena mengetahui iPhone ini garansi international dan umumnya iPhone hanya bisa klaim di negara tempat dia membeli, plus ditambah sedikit dent pada body iPhone karena penggunaan, ada rasa hopeless untuk klaim garansi. Namun tgl 7 Februari 2022, dengan mencoba keberuntungan iPhone ini saya coba klaim ke Mitra Care. Hasilnya? DITERIMA. Walaupun terdapat dent, namun karena iPhone ini memiliki AppleCare+, garansi bisa diklaim. CS menginfokan bahwa perlu max 3 hari untuk menginformasikan hasil checkup (tapi tidak diinfo juga). Sampai akhirnya saya sendiri yg memfollowup dihari ke 2 dan ke 7. Status service diwebsite UPTODATE. But! Kurang detail sampai sejauh mana progress servicenya. Lebih bagus kalau terdapat informasi seperti mengenai tgl service, status saat ini, tgl perubahan status, progress order pengganti unit / sparepart. Bukan hanya sweet alert ‘Unit Masih Dalam Perbaikan’. Perbaikan sampai kapan? Bagaimana progressnya? Sudah dicek atau sudah diorder sparepartnya kah? Sehingga customer bisa memutuskan langkah yg perlu mereka lakukan seperti membeli smartphone sementara sembari menunggu iPhone nya diservice. Dari kurangnya informasi ini akhirnya 7 Feb - 18 Feb saya tidak membawa smartphone. 10 Days tanpa informasi dan update pekerjaan yg mungkin hasilnya lebih dari harga iPhone yg diservice. Good news for us, Mitra Care benar2 bisa membantu klaim garansi international iPhone saya. Bad news for me, ada sedikit kecewa karna di whatsapp menginformasikan bahwa ‘unit’ diganti, yg ternyata saat pengambilan, ternyata bukan ‘unit’ baru yg didapat, tapi unit lama dengan LCD yg diganti. Jadi ‘proses penggantian unit’ ini entah maksudnya unit saya yg perlu dikirim ke singapore dan diperbaiki disana, atau Mitra Care menunggu unit LCD pengganti, baru bisa memperbaiki. Mudahan bisa membuka pencerahan buat calon customer Mitra Care dengan iPhone garansi International. ? Dan buat mitra care, sukses terus dan makin banyak cabangnya.
In short, I bought an iPhone 12 mini 2nd Hand in one of the Marketplaces, model X/A, AppleCare+ warranty until November 7, 2023. Knowing that this iPhone is an international warranty and generally an iPhone can only be claimed in the country where it was purchased, plus a slight dent on the iPhone's body due to use, there is a sense of hopelessness for a warranty claim. But on February 7, 2022, by trying my luck on this iPhone, I tried to claim it to Care Partners. The result? ACCEPTED. Even though there are dents, because this iPhone has AppleCare+, the warranty can be claimed. CS informed that it takes max 3 days to inform the results of the checkup (but it was not informed either). Until finally I myself followed up on the 2nd and 7th day. Service status on the UPTODATE website. But! Lack of detail to what extent the service progress. It would be better if there is information such as the date of service, current status, date of status change, progress of orders for replacement units / spare parts. Not just the 'Unit Still Under Repair' sweet alert. How long will the repair take? How is the progress? Have you checked or ordered spare parts? So that customers can decide what steps they need to take, such as buying a smartphone while waiting for their iPhone to be serviced. From this lack of information, finally 7 Feb - 18 Feb I didn't bring a smartphone. 10 Days without information and work updates that may result in more than the price of a serviced iPhone. Good news for us, Mitra Care can really help with my iPhone international warranty claim. Bad news for me, I was a little disappointed because WhatsApp informed me that the 'unit' was replaced, which turned out to be when I picked it up, it wasn't a new 'unit' that I got, but an old unit with a replaced LCD. So this 'unit replacement process' either means my unit needs to be sent to Singapore and repaired there, or Mitra Care is waiting for a replacement LCD unit, then it can be repaired. Hopefully it can open enlightenment for prospective Care Partners customers with an International iPhone warranty. ️ And for care partners, continued success and more branches.
