★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a fantastic food stop in a busy part of town. Discovered by accident but we were so pleased to find it. The satay here is fresh, tender and tasty...there are other menu choices too and the 4 of us all enjoyed our food. Service and price excellent also. I will be back. The best satay kambing I've eaten in Indonesia...it really is good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is one of alternatives to sate dining when you want to go to the southern part of Yogyakarta through Jalan Bantul. The place is cozy, has some classic air in the dining room.
It's main strength is the freshness of the mutton. It also has vast variation of foods, such as sate klatak (only seasoned using simple method such as salt) and kicik (it is like tongseng, but it's main seasoning is soy ketchup. It is quite rare! I recommend this).
The seasoning of sate is mixed between soy ketchup and peanut sauce, which is quite unorthodox.
Generally, it is a nice to place. The absence of price in the menu list can be a drawback, but trust me, it is quite normal, compared to another sate restaurant.
